Refund policy

14-day refunds

Scrybe costs $29 per year, charged by Scrollprep LLC through Polar. You can ask for a full refund within 14 calendar days of the first charge or any renewal. We do not ask why, though a sentence about what went wrong helps us improve.

To request one, email hello@scrybe.me from the address on your account, or use the billing portal. Include the page address if you have it. We will confirm and send the refund to the original payment method through Polar. It usually appears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

After 14 days

We do not normally refund past 14 days, but if something clearly went wrong — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a service problem we could not fix — contact us and we will make it right. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from Manage billing in your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the page stays live until the end of the period you already paid for, then pauses. The address is held for 90 days, so resubscribing brings the same page back. Cancelling is not the same as a refund: if you cancel after a charge and want that charge refunded, ask within the 14-day window.

A refund is different: it ends the subscription immediately, so the page pauses when the refund is processed rather than staying live for the rest of the year. The address is held for 90 days; resubscribing brings it back.

Free preview

Previewing a page is free. You are only charged when you choose to publish, so there is nothing to refund before that.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. A chargeback can suspend the account while it is investigated, and we would rather fix the problem directly.
