Terms of service

Last updated October 21, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Scrollprep LLC (“Scrybe”, “we”, “us”) for the Scrybe website and service. By creating an account or publishing a page, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Scrybe turns a résumé you upload into a single personal website at a scrybe.me/… address. The design is a fixed house style with ten color choices. We may improve the product over time, but we do not promise that any particular feature, layout or address will remain available forever.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your password and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information and keep your email address current so we can reach you about your page or subscription.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the résumé and other content you upload. You give Scrybe a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, process, render and display that content for the purpose of providing the service — including sending it to our AI providers when you ask for polish. You confirm that you have the right to share everything in your résumé and that publishing it does not violate anyone else's rights or privacy.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Scrybe to:

We may remove a page or suspend an account that breaks these rules. If a page is reported, we review it and may hide it while we do.

5. AI features

Optional polish is generated by a third-party AI model. They can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing the result before you publish. A guard checks changed numbers and facts against your original, but it is not a guarantee of accuracy.

6. Payments, renewals and refunds

Publishing costs $29 per year, charged through Polar. The price includes applicable taxes where Polar collects them. Your subscription renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel from the billing portal; the page stays live until the end of the paid period, then pauses.

If Scrybe is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the charge. A refund revokes the subscription immediately, so the page pauses; the address is held for 90 days. See the refund policy for how.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but it is provided “as is” and we do not promise uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, security or legal reasons. We may change these terms; if a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from the account screen. Deleting it removes your site, versions, uploads and account, and revokes any active subscription. We may suspend or end the agreement if you materially breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law — survive.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Scrybe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
